Lean Agile Model – train, coach, holistic flow

Let’s briefly look at three topics in the context of Lean Agility for an entire enterprise:

  1. Training
  2. Coaching
  3. Lean Process Leadership

Each of these topics drive improvements in the value outcomes for an enterprise. They make these impacts on value outcomes through people, process, skills, environments, teams, and mindsets; along the way, culture emerges from the interactions among the process, environments, and people.

Lean Agile execution and holistic value delivery are driven through skillsets, mindsets, execution, and flow.

Training

  • Instills new and/or improved skills

Coaching

  • Improves application and development of skills and emergent culture
  • Improves team and individuals
  • Helps inject and apply training (from themselves or from other sources)

 

Lean Process Leadership:

  • Fosters execution environment and emergent culture
  • Improves execution flow of value in a holistic process and environment
  • Helps inject and apply training (from themselves or from other sources)

 

Note:  managers within an enterprise primarily orchestrate execution and results across people and environments; ideally they become coaches in a Lean-Agile enterprise.
